After 2 years of designing and developing, the new react-native framework of GM’s vehicle mobile app was released in early 2025. Rive animations and system motion designed by me.

PITCHING A NEW DESIGN

myBrand leveraged a piecemeal of web-ready animations: gif, Lottie, and even sprite sheets. One of our main priorities of switching to a new React-Native framework was reducing the size of the animations. Working with our developers, we discovered that Rive was the missing piece. From power buttons to loading animations, myOwner is full of Rive animations that were animated by yours truly.

While Rive animations make developer handful a much simpler experience, our core components in mobile are hard coded, and I handled design and documentation for our motion at a systems level. Beneath are some examples of that work.
